The Minister of Labour Jobs and Employment Hon. Dr. Rashid Hassan Pelpuo have underscored the government’s dedication to advancing occupational safety and health (OSH) standards across Ghana.
He said this during his keynote address at the 2025 Health, Environment, Safety, and Security (HESS) Leadership Conference here in Accra. He praised the organizers for their sustained leadership and commitment to promoting safe, healthy, and sustainable work environments both within Ghana and beyond.
Acknowledging the evolving global landscape marked by technological advancements, climate change, pandemics, and geopolitical shifts, Dr. Pelpuo noted the increasing responsibility placed on safety professionals to anticipate new risks and innovate protective measures.
